1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of SmartBet Lab at smartbetlab.io, including the web application, public pages and the browser extension. By using the service you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. What SmartBet Lab Is (and Is Not)

SmartBet Lab is a tracking and analytics tool for sports bettors. It includes:

• Bet tracking: one-click sync from supported bookmaker accounts via our browser extension, plus manual, CSV and photo-based entry
• Analytics computed from your real bets: ROI breakdowns, closing line value, the Sharp Score skill rating, tilt detection
• Strategy building, backtesting against captured market data, and paper-tracked signals
• Optional AI features (coach, weekly analyst report, second opinions) grounded in your own record
• Free public surfaces: fair-odds boards, betting calculators and guides
• Optional community features (public profile, leaderboards) that exist only if you opt in

SmartBet Lab is not a bookmaker. We accept no wagers, hold no gambling funds, sell no picks or predictions, and are not affiliated with any bookmaker. All betting activity happens entirely outside our service, at your own decision and risk.

3. Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years old, or the legal gambling age in your jurisdiction if higher
• You must have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms
• You are responsible for ensuring that your own betting activity is legal where you live

4. Your Account

Sign-in is passwordless: we email you a magic link, so access to your SmartBet Lab account is controlled by access to your email inbox. You agree to:

• Provide an email address you control, and keep that inbox secure
• Not share your account or sign-in links with others
• Only import betting data that is genuinely yours, and not knowingly input false data
• Notify us via the contact page if you suspect unauthorized access

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any unlawful purpose
• Interfere with, overload or disrupt the service
• Attempt to access other users' data or our systems without authorization
• Scrape or mass-harvest the service's data, or resell or redistribute it without permission
• Upload malicious code
• Misuse community features (impersonation, harassment, fake records)

6. Plans, Trial, Billing and Refunds

Free tier

• Core tracking, one-click sync, automatic settlement and the Sharp Score are free, with no credit card required

Paid tiers

• Paid subscriptions (billed monthly or annually via Stripe) add the features listed on the pricing page
• New accounts receive a 14-day free trial of the Pro tier, no card required, it simply lapses to the free tier if you do nothing
• Prices may change with at least 30 days' notice; changes never apply retroactively to an already-paid period
• You are responsible for applicable taxes, which are shown at checkout

Refunds and cancellation

• 14-day money-back guarantee: if you are unhappy after your first payment, request a full refund within 14 days. Self-serve, no questions asked
• You can cancel any time; paid features remain active until the end of the period you paid for
• Beyond the guarantee above, fees for a started billing period are not refunded except where the law requires

7. Your Data

• Your betting data belongs to you
• You grant us the license needed to store and process it solely to provide the service to you
• You can export all of your data, or permanently delete your account and everything in it, self-serve in Settings → Account & Data. Deletion cancels any paid subscription immediately and is irreversible
• We retain all rights to the platform itself. Its code, design, algorithms and content

8. Responsible Gambling

• SmartBet Lab analyzes betting; it does not encourage it. Nothing in the product rewards betting more or more often
• Tilt warnings and optional loss-limit guards are built in. We recommend using them
• If gambling is causing you harm, stop and seek help from a professional support service in your country

9. Disclaimers

• SmartBet Lab is for informational and analytical purposes only. Nothing in it is betting advice
• We do not guarantee betting success or profit; past performance does not predict future results
• All betting decisions and their consequences are yours alone
• Market data (odds, closing lines) comes from third-party sources and may occasionally be incomplete; where data is missing we label it rather than estimate it
• The service is provided "as is", without warranties, and may occasionally be interrupted

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SmartBet Lab shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data or goodwill, including, for the avoidance of doubt, any betting losses.

Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold SmartBet Lab harmless from claims, damages and expenses arising from your use of the service in violation of these Terms or of applicable law.

12. Termination

• You may leave at any time: export your data and delete your account, self-serve, in Settings
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms; where reasonable we will warn you first
• Sections on data rights, disclaimers, liability and indemnification survive termination

13. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Before pursuing any formal proceedings, you agree to contact us first and give us a genuine opportunity to resolve the dispute informally; failing that, disputes will be resolved by the competent courts.

14. Changes to These Terms

When we change these Terms materially, we will update the date at the top and notify you in the app or by email. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
